We keep our classes and tutorial groups relatively small to create an atmosphere where you can feel relaxed and comfortable, which allows learners to really get to know their teachers.

‘SDCCL PUBLIC SCHOOL DIGVIJAYGRAM’, a 10 +2 CBSE (New Delhi) affiliated co-educational English medium school is renowned for the quality education and all round development of vicinity students in in both the streams- Science and Commerce at +2 level in Saurashtra region of Gujarat. It was established in 1962 as Digvijay Cement Vidya Niketan, a Hindi Medium Secondary School. In due course, its name was changed to Shree Bangur Vidyalaya in 1991. The first batch in English medium sat for AISSE in 1991. The first batch with Science stream passed out in 1994 and the same with the commerce stream appeared for the board examination in 2008.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

It gives me great pride and pleasure to write about SDCCL PUBLIC SCHOOL, DIGVIJAYGRAM which has 62 glorious years of imparting true education, which is unique in itself with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities to meet the need and requirement of moulding the child of 21stcentury for an inclusive society.

Each child is born with a mission in his life and with special talents which are peculiar to him. The purpose of education is to transform the inborn potentiality into an actuality. There are three strands to good learning i.e. to be competent (intellectually), to be engaging (socially) and to be ethical (morally). The system of education should be competent to match the parameter of modern requirement. Education system is ever changing and challenging process. With the passage of time and specific requirement the method of educating will change. The challenge right now with us in this new normal where latest technology is embracing modern schooling methods without forgetting our time tested teaching techniques to provide world class education.

Another main aspect of school is its environment, where a positive school environment is defined as a school having appropriate facilities, well-managed classrooms, available school-based health supports, and a clear, fair disciplinary policy. There are many hallmarks of the academic, disciplinary, and physical environments of schools with a positive climate.

The Illiterate of 21st century will not be those who cannot read or write but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn, our motto is to make a student best in his field that can face all the challenges whether it is a field of career or a social life.

The school presently known as ‘SDCCL PUBLIC SCHOOL DIGVIJAYGRAM’, a 10 + 2 CBSE –New Delhi affiliated English medium co-educational school educating vicinity children in both Science and Commerce stream at + 2 level is renowned for quality education and all round development of students in Saurashtra region of Gujarat.
